Frequently asked questions
Everything a player can read before signing in: the account, points and referrals, deposits and withdrawals, how the rooms and boards work, friends, fair play, and how to reach support. Tap a question to open it.
Account and sign-in
How do I sign in?
Tap Sign in and choose your email, your Google account or a wallet. Privy, our sign-in provider, handles the sign-in. Your account is created the first time you sign in.
Do I need an account to play?
Yes. Every room needs a signed-in player, including the practice rooms. The servers list, the leaderboards and the activity feed can be read without signing in.
What is my username and can I change it?
You get a username the first time you sign in. Change it in Settings: 3 to 20 characters, letters, digits and underscore only, and some names are reserved. Other players see it on kill feeds, on the boards and on your profile.
Who can play?
You must be 18 or over, hold one account, and check for yourself that playing is lawful where you live. The Terms of Service list the restricted territories. Duplicate accounts can be closed and their balances forfeited.
Can I hide my balances on screen?
Yes. Open the account menu and tap Hide balances. Your game balance, site wallet figure and points show as dots until you turn it off again.
How do I close my account?
Open a ticket from the help page while signed in to that account and ask for it to be closed. Withdraw your game balance first: a balance left in a closed account can be forfeited.
Points and the referral program
What are points?
Points are what you play for. Every kill in a PPK or Frag Race room scores points set by the weapon in your hand, and a death never costs a point. Points have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or withdrawn. Your points balance goes down when you stake points in a challenge or send points to a friend.
Where do I see my points?
Your points balance sits in the account menu. Tap it for the full history at Points: every kill, bonus, challenge and transfer. Your profile shows lifetime points, kills, deaths and your favourite weapon.
Can I send points to a friend?
Yes, from a friend's profile with Send points. You must be accepted friends and both of you need a username. Send at least 0.01 points, with no more than two decimal places.
How does the referral program work?
Open your own profile, go to Referrals and tap Get my code. Your code is @ followed by your username and your link is tournament.com/@yourusername. A new player who opens your link and signs in for the first time within 30 days is counted as your referral. Your Referrals section shows your visits, sign-ups and points earned, and lists each referred player with the day they joined.
What does a referral earn?
100 points to you for every player who joins through your link, and 100 points to them as a welcome. Daily and lifetime limits apply: at most 1,000 points a day and 10,000 points in all per referrer, and the welcome bonus has a site-wide daily budget. Past a limit the sign-up still counts, but it pays nothing to either side.
Is there a sign-up bonus?
Yes. Every new account receives 100 points on sign-up. A player who joins through a referral link, or adds a referral code in their first 30 days, receives a further 100-point welcome, and the referrer earns 100 points too.
I signed up without a link. Can I still add a referral code?
Yes. For your first 30 days, Settings has a Referral code field: type the code, for example @skel. A code can be added once. You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot be referred by a player you referred.
What happens to my referral link if I change my username?
Your code changes with your username. Links you already shared keep working.
Deposits
What is the site wallet?
Your own Solana wallet, set up the first time you sign in. You hold the keys. The site wallet is your deposit address, the place withdrawals land, and the wallet you send money on from. Open it from the account menu under Site wallet.
What is the game balance?
USDC recorded on the site in your name. It comes in from your site wallet and goes back out to it. The rooms play for points and charge nothing, so you do not need a deposit to play.
How do I deposit?
Open the wallet and tap Add funds. Choose the network you are sending from, then the coin, and you get a deposit address that is yours and stays the same. Send from any wallet or exchange. USDC on Solana goes straight to your site wallet for free. For other coins, Relay converts what you send and it arrives as USDC in your site wallet, usually within a few minutes, 10 to 30 minutes from Bitcoin, less network and conversion costs. The Relay address screen shows the minimum for the coin you chose and an estimate of what arrives. With automatic moves on, deposits then arrive in your game balance, about a minute. With automatic moves off, they stay in your site wallet until you tap Move to game balance.
Which networks and coins can I send from?
Solana, Tron, Ethereum and Bitcoin come first, and the list holds many more networks. The sheet shows the coins each network accepts. On Solana, USDC goes straight to your site wallet address for free; SOL goes through Relay and is converted to USDC on the way in, about a cent. On Tron only USDT is accepted. Send only the coin shown on the network shown. SOL sent straight to your site wallet stays there as SOL and never becomes game balance.
Can I send USDC straight to my wallet?
Yes, it is free. Open Wallet, Add money, Solana, then USDC to see your own site wallet address. Use the Solana network only and send USDC only. With automatic moves on, it arrives in your game balance, about a minute. With automatic moves off, it lands in your site wallet, then tap Move to game balance when you want to play.
I sent SOL to my USDC address, what now?
It is in your site wallet as SOL. Open Wallet, Site wallet, Send out, then To a Solana wallet. Choose SOL and send it to any Solana wallet you control. You can also export your keys from Settings and use the wallet anywhere. SOL never becomes game balance.
What if a deposit cannot complete?
It goes back to the refund address the deposit address was bound to when it was issued. On Tron and Bitcoin you type that address once, and it should be a wallet you control, not an exchange deposit address. On the other networks the refund goes to a wallet held in your name. The deposit's progress shows in the wallet until it lands or is returned.
How do I move money into my game balance?
With your permission and automatic moves on, USDC deposits move from your site wallet into your game balance as they arrive, about a minute. You keep your keys and can turn this off in Settings. Withdrawals from your game balance to your site wallet are left alone. You can also open the Site wallet tab and tap Move to game balance. If the site does not yet have permission, it asks before moving anything. When you hold USDC in your site wallet, Add funds offers it first.
Withdrawals
How do I withdraw?
Open the wallet and tap Move to site wallet. Your game balance goes to your site wallet as USDC in about a minute. You pay a flat 2 USDC fee on every withdrawal, and the site covers the network cost on top of that. A move cannot be reversed once it is on the network.
Is there a minimum or a fee?
The minimum withdrawal is 20 USDC, and a flat 2 USDC fee is kept on every withdrawal; the site covers the network cost on top of that. Withdraw 20 and 18 lands in your site wallet. The sheet shows the exact amount you receive before you confirm.
Where can I withdraw to?
To your own site wallet only. From there you can send the money on with Send out: SOL to any Solana address, or your USDC sent on via Relay to the network and coin you choose, between 1 and 25,000 USDC, quoted before you confirm, with no network fee for you.
Why is my withdrawal on hold?
Withdrawals can be held on an account while its play is checked, a large withdrawal is checked before it is sent, and withdrawals can be paused for everyone for a moment when the site needs it. Your game balance is unchanged in every case, and the wallet says which it is.
Where do I see my deposits and withdrawals?
Wallet history shows every move between your game balance and your site wallet on both sides with the same reference, plus sends out and sends on. A row without its partner is marked, never hidden.
Playing
What is the game?
DOOM 2 deathmatch against real players, in your browser. A room holds eight players on most maps and six on the small ones: of the 13 maps in the rotation, 10 seat eight and 3 seat six. Sign in, pick a server near you and frag.
How do I pick a server?
Open Servers. The lobby measures your ping to every region and shows it beside each room: lower is a fairer fight. Rooms above 170 ms are closed to you, and quick play only takes a seat inside that limit. Practice rooms are open at any distance.
What are the modes?
PPK (points per kill): drop in and out any time. The map rotates every 15 minutes and the in-game board resets with it. Frag Race: the round ends when someone reaches 30 kills, with bonus points to the top three of 50, 30 and 20. Practice: one server close to you, full of bots, free, and kills there score no points.
What is a kill worth?
Fist and pistol 5 points, chainsaw 5, shotgun 4, super shotgun 4, chaingun 3, rocket 2, plasma 1, BFG 1. The weaker the weapon, the more the kill is worth. The value follows the weapon in your hand at the moment of the kill. In perps a death costs the weapon's value plus 5 percent, which is burned; nowhere else does a death cost a point, it only counts against your K/D.
How is the in-game leaderboard ranked?
In PPK by kill/death ratio: your kills divided by your deaths, with deaths counted as at least one, and you need 5 kills on the map before you are ranked. In Frag Race and Practice by kills.
How do the site leaderboards work?
Leaderboards has a daily board and a lifetime board for each mode, ranked by points or by K/D, for every region and for the world. Daily boards reset at 00:00 UTC and lifetime never resets. A K/D board needs 25 kills that day, or 100 kills lifetime, before you appear on it.
What are challenges?
Stake points and duel one player, first to the kill target of 10, 20 or 30. Both stakes go into the pot, the winner takes 95 percent and the house keeps 5 percent. The stake is whole points, at least 10, with no upper limit, and you can have one active challenge at a time. A challenge nobody takes refunds itself after 30 minutes. A joiner needs 100 ms or less to the server. Once the match is live, a player who drops has 60 seconds to return, then forfeits; a no-show voids the match and refunds both stakes. Kills in a challenge score no leaderboard points. Open Challenges.
What happens if my connection drops?
In a PPK or Frag Race room, rejoin from the servers list and take a seat in the same room. In a challenge your seat is held for 60 seconds. Results affected by latency or a dropped connection stand.
Where can I watch what is happening?
Activity shows the live kill feed across every server, kills and challenge results, and then your own account activity once you are signed in.
Friends and invites
How do I add a friend?
From Friends or from any player profile: send a request and they accept. You can have up to 500 friends and 50 requests waiting for an answer at a time.
What do friends see?
Friends see where you are playing in PPK and Frag Race rooms and can join the same room. Practice rooms are private, so only points rooms show.
How do invites work?
In the servers list, tap Invite on a room and pick a friend. They get a ticket on the site and an email with a Join button. An invite lasts 30 minutes and only friends can be invited. One open invite per friend at a time: sending again while it is open returns the same invite, and after a decline or an expiry you can invite that friend again 10 minutes after the last invite was sent.
What is the Inbox?
Inbox holds the server invites and friend requests waiting for your answer, and the account menu shows how many are waiting.
Fair play
Is there anti-cheat?
Yes. The servers are authoritative, play is recorded, and automated systems analyse input, timing, network and device data for every player. The Terms of Service say what counts as cheating: aim assistance, wall hacks, macros, scripts, bots, modified clients, lag switching, exploiting bugs, collusion, throwing games and account sharing among them.
What happens if my account is flagged?
The site can restrict an account: withdrawals held while its play is checked, or the account frozen so it cannot play, take a challenge or withdraw. Decisions on cheating, match outcomes, points and rankings are final.
Can I appeal a suspension?
No. Suspended accounts stay suspended.
Can I have more than one account?
No. One account per person, and one person per device. Sharing an internet connection or IP address with another player is fine; sharing a computer is not. Duplicate accounts can be closed and their balances and points forfeited.
Support
How do I contact support?
By ticket only. Open one from the help page: tap Help in the account menu, pick a category and describe the problem. There is no live chat. A suspended account cannot open a ticket.
How fast do I get a reply?
About an hour for the first reply. After that, each reply takes at least a day. The reply comes on the ticket.
Can I open more than one ticket?
One ticket at a time. Put one problem in each ticket and wait for the reply before opening another.
What should a ticket include?
Your username, what you did, when it happened in UTC, and the reference from Wallet history or Activity if the ticket is about money or a match. Never send your wallet keys or a sign-in code: support will never ask for them.
Privacy and terms
Where are the terms?
The Terms of Service. Using the site means you accept them, and they are updated by posting the new version on the site.
Where is the privacy policy?
The Privacy Policy explains what is collected, how it is used and the choices you have. Privacy questions and requests go to privacy@tournament.com.
What about me is public?
Your username, avatar, statistics, leaderboard position, matches and kills are visible to other players and the public. Transactions involving your site wallet are on a public blockchain by design.
